re do 5/5 blog post

Lady Macbeth: Naught's had, all's spent,
where our desire is got without content.
Tis safer to be that which we destroy
Than by destruction dwell in doubtful joy.
Act 3.2

I believe that this quotation here is pretty important. So rite now the Macbeth's have killed duncan and are about to kill Banqo. They have gotten all that they want. He is king. No one knows about the murder, and everything is going nicely. But as Lady macbeth said, they are still not happy. They have everything they wanted and are not happy. I just find that weird. She said we have worked and gotten what we want, but our disiers did not make us  happy. It was safer for us to just leave everything alone, than to live how we are now. Not happy at all, when before we were.

Lady Macbeth
The raven himself is hoarse
That croaks the fatal entrance of Duncan
Under my battlements. Come, you spirits
That tend on mortal thoughts, unsex me here,
And fill me from the crown to the toe top-full
Of direst cruelty. Make thick my blood,
Stop up th’access and passage to remorse,
That no compunctious visitings of nature
Shake my fell purpose, nor keep peace between
Th’ effect and it. Come to my woman’s breasts,
And take my milk for gall, you murd’ring ministers,
Wherever in your sightless substances
You wait on nature’s mischief. Come, thick night,
And pall thee in the dunnest smoke of hell,
That my keen knife see not the wound it makes,
Nor heaven peep through the blanket of the dark,
To cry ‘Hold, hold!’
Act 1.5

In this one lady macbeth is preparing herself to kill duncan. It's pretty evil, and its important because it marks the preparation of the first murder. She said make my blood thick, make me not human. Make me cruel. Bring forth the night, and don't let the stars see. Don't let me or my knife see what the wound makes, nor let the heaves see through the dark for it is something to terrible.

macbeth

At the beginning of Macbeth, we talked about some of the big ideas we would find in the play.  Choose one that you think the play is most about, or that we should most pay attention to.  Support your choice with a two-paragraph discussion of how we have seen this issue in the play.  Do you think this issue is part of a theme (a statement the play is making about that topic)?  If so, what?

3. Everyone is capable of lying, betrayal, and violence, which are basic parts of human nature.

I believe that this is the biggest idea that we talked about in this play. Wy you ask? Well it is simple, it is all about betrayal, violence, lying and murder. It's all about the darkness in human nature. We see it all the time. Here are some examples. Duncan trusted Macbeth, bad Idea. Macbeth invited duncan to his house and killed him. He then went and killed his best friend because he now knew that the prophesy was coming true. He then lied about killing all these people. He used violence to kill all of them.

So as you can see, all of it adds together. The whole play is about lying, betrayal, and violence. I think this whole issue is part of the theme of the play. It also is what makes it interesting. Who doesn't like some good old fashioned betrayal and conflict. Any way I believe that this is the biggest idea and theme that we have talked about in this play.

what if

What if we lived in a place
with no future time or place
What if we were green and tall
and had six limbs instead of four
what if one day we woke up
and all knowledge was lost
what if reality wasn't reality
and instead it was our dreams that are
What if there is some one out there
other than us and looking down
what if we were all robots
or could fly or breath under water
what if we did not live on earth
but instead on mars or in a far away galaxy
what if there were goblins
and ghouls
fairies and elves
little blue sheep and cats with nine tails
what if there was a dragon
and a castle in the sky
or a complex civilization
that had Jedi
what if we were wizards
or witches with a broom
what if we had super powers
or extreme genius to
what if all things we drew came to life
and interdomintanal portals could be used
to travel to other places
What if is what the thinker asks
what if is what makes the artest draw
or writer write
and thinkers think
and inventors invent
and the things around us change
what if is the question that brings about no reality
and boggles the mind
but keeps us from never getting board
and makes ourselves advance forward
what if is what people live by
the what if is what makes one do things
we live by the what if
and all people have the what if
but what if we are not people
then the what if still lives
and in the civilization of that being
the what if does the same
and those creative thoughts keep journing
and all things come to place
for it is what we live by
what if.

self assesment

I feel like I could have done better this week. I partially think this is because I was tired and had just came back from vacation. I still think I participated a lot, but I could have done better. I would give myself a B.

#5

Women are more compassionate and less violent than men.

I diss agree with this statement. Throughout history women have ben seen as inferior. They were seen as the gentle care givers, the sweet ones, the gentle mothers, the soft kiss, the compassionate one, not the iron fist. No that title was given to men. And one thing no one ever thought was that women were violent. It was stereotyped. However I know that girls are violent, and mysterious, and just as tuff as men. Theres no denying it. You all know that because of these stereotyping a lot of murders, and cases dun and or saved ect by women happened because of the stereotype. We all know that famous school kid thing or action hero thing when the girl challenges a guy to a fight and he's like "She's only a girl," then the next thing you know she is kicking his but. Yes, while men are usually seen as the violent ones women can be to. THey can be the iron fist, and pretty violent.

#3

Everyone is capable of lying, betrayal, and violence, which are basic parts of human nature.

I agree with this statement. You could be the nicest, most kind, most trustworthy person in the world, yet you are capable and could easily lye, or do something wrong, betray a friend or even become violent. Because we are all not perfect, computer controlled robots designed to do everything perfectly, we will mess up and or make mistakes. We all have free will and the ability to control ourselves and our actions, thus in turn giving us power in witch most people are able to keep control of and be nice. However because of this power we may slip and lye, betray, and or do something violent because we have the power to do so. With power comes to humans the wanting to test it out and see how far you can go. Sadly that is the case, so built in to our human nature is a back up code that makes us do things that normally we would not do. Like I said no matter how good you are, your not perfect and will mess up. It may be small or it may be big, but it is just part of human nature. It is something that we as humans can control. Our actions, and one thing I know about people is that everyone wants control.

Home

The time in which the heavens
touch the earth
I will be there
Around the yonder bend
Past the billibong
And in the fields of tomorrow
where your wheat will be golden

And as the sun touches the earth
like the artiest
and whistles of the wind sing
to the toon of the birds
is the time in which you'll find me
coming home

And if you do not see me first
listen to the sound of the dogs
bark
and let them lead you back
to me

And in this heavenly moment
child
I will embrace you
my sweet daughter
for I am
Home

But do not be scared when I am gone
for angels will watch my every
step of the way

And when you feel all alone
just look at the time
when the heavens touch the earth
and know that I am coming home

In this poem I used enjambment, euphony, personification, and simile.

song analisis

http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/animals/houseoftherisingsun.html

The song I am choosing to analyze is the House of the Rising Sun by the Animals.

There is a house in New Orleans
They call the Rising Sun
And it's been the ruin of many a poor boy
And God I know I'm one

My mother was a tailor
She sewed my new bluejeans
My father was a gamblin' man
Down in New Orleans

Now the only thing a gambler needs
Is a suitcase and trunk
And the only time he's satisfied
Is when he's on a drunk

[Organ Solo]

Oh mother tell your children
Not to do what I have done
Spend your lives in sin and misery
In the House of the Rising Sun

Well, I got one foot on the platform
The other foot on the train
I'm goin' back to New Orleans
To wear that ball and chain

Well, there is a house in New Orleans
They call the Rising Sun
And it's been the ruin of many a poor boy
And God I know I'm one

Analysis
Within the song there is of corse a rhyme pattern and a lot of end rhyme, and some eternal rhyme. Such as in sin, or to new. For end rhyme there are things like done sun, train chain, and sun and one.  Also there is a lot of sibilance. Within every line there is multiple s sounds, weather it starts, ends or is within the word. Also this whole entire song is filled Euphony.
This song tells a story about a guy that ruins his life by drinking and stuff, and while he could easily tell the story with all wow is me and cacophony he decides to use euphony to tell it. This makes it all nice and pretty for a sad story witch I find to be very interestingAlso the way that they use sibilance within it makes it sound all sorrowful and sad. This is because all the s words seem to be sad ones, or the way that they are put in it make it sound so sad. But that is what they were going for. The way that the animals uses euphony, and sibilance brings about a sad, sorrowful, and resentful tone to this song, making one feel some what sad when listing to it.

Free post: Make your own story

The rode os bumpy and ash grey under you. The full moon is out tonight. The wind whispers as you drive down the endless, gravel road. In the distance you can here the wolf call out its lonely howell. You here a ticking noise in your car. It starts slowing, and fumes start coming out of your engine. You pull over to the side of the road, and break open the hood. Your engine has just broken down. No cars, nor street lights are out on this lonely dark road. You are stranded. You take out your phone but the batteries are dead. What do you do A or B.

A: You decide to get back into the car, and wait. Someone is bound to notice that your not home at the rite time. Go to 1

B: you go to your trunk and grab your flash light, and start walking down the road back the way you came. Go to 2

1: The hours start ticking away as you wait. Your car has grown incredibly hot and you are melting in side. The longer you wait and stare out the window, the more nevice you get. Its now 12. you keep telling your self that some one will come and you doze off. You suddenly wake up to a taping at your window. It is to dark to see what it is. You here the sound of crunching leaves behind you in the woods. You look in your rearview merrier but see no car lights. What do you do C or D

2: The moon is just bright enough to light up the road ahed. To your left there are strange dark woods. And to the right lies an open grey pasture. As you walk along your way you here a noise come from the woods. You turn around but nothing is there. You start walking again, this time a little bit faster. You here it again, and walk faster. You walk not but 10 feet when you here the sound of foot steps. What do you do: E or F

C: All of a sudden a Hand slams on your window. You start to scream. A strange laughing comes from out side. You grab your gun in the seat behind you. You see up ahead a house you did not notice before. what do you do: 3 or 4

D: You here a snarling and look out your side merrier. You see a dog like shadow pass behind your car. You see two more. You here a popping sound where your tire use to be. You have a gun in the seat behind you, and notice a house you did not notice before. What do you do.
5 or 6.

E: You start to run for your life, up ahead there is a barn. You sprint faster, faster than you ever had before. You don't here the footsteps any more but you keep running. You jump the fence and dash across the field. You get to the barn. It looks old and abandoned. You try to open the door but it is stuck. You notice a hole in the wood that you can just fit through. You jump in and are face up in and old rugged barn. What do you do 7 or 8.

F: You stop. Maybe it is just a animal, or someone looking for you. You turn around, and see car lights behind you, and a man. You look closer. It's you uncle Ben. You run to him and give him a big hug. He said " lets go home."

3: You jump out of the car and make a run for it. not looking back. you here your name being called but you just keep running. Strait on up to the house that you saw. You here foot steps coming after you and your name called again. what do you do G or H.

4: You start to shoot out of the window. You don't stop till it is silent again. Then you sit and wait. Some minuets later a cop car drives up. They get you out and bring you home, as you explain what happened. In the end you learned that you just killed two murderers.

5: You remember that wolves live here and wait. By morning time there gone, and the cops come up. You get home safely.

6: you freak out and jump out of the car sprinting for your life to the house. your here the howling of dogs behind you and you don't stop. You fire a few rounds and keep running till you make it to the house. What do you do I or J.

7: You look out a crack and see the road. You see nothing. Then a movement that comes from the woods. You see an old ladder and rafters. You clime up the lander that squeaks under you weight and clime carefully on to the rafters, just in time. You here foot steps out side of the door. Then it slams, as someone try's to break in but cant. You scooch back to the dark corner and hold your breath. You here the foot steps go around the barn. What do you do K or L

8: You pass out and awaken to a farmer looking at you. You tell him what happened, and he understands. He brings you home.

G: you turn around and see that its your dad calling after you. You feel relief after all the fright and go home.

H: you keep running all the way to the house. The door is locked. You head over to the back. It the same. You take a closer look, and notice it is abandoned. You notice the garage is open and you run inside. What happens 9 or 10

I: You break into the house, and run up the stair closing the door behind you. You look out the window next to the road. The wolves circle around the house. You do not sleep, and watch them till morning. They leave, yet you have not seen any cars come by. You wait and hope for the best.

J: You try to open the door but it locked. The dogs are coming faster and faster. They don't stop and seem to get faster. You seem to get slower, and all of a sudden you cant move. Your mind said to go but your stuck, and they don't stop. Now there snarling and only 10 feet away with there mouths wide open. You scream and wake up in you bead. It was only a bad dream.

K: You here them go away but your not shore. You stay in the barn till the morning. You walk out side, and see no one but the horses in the field. You head back to your car and see your mom standing out side with the cops. You run up and give her a big hug. All is well now.

L:Then a man breaks through. You stay in the corner praying that he doesn't look up and see you. He paces around the bottom of the barn. It seems like hours pass but it is only seconds. He looks up, but doesn't see you. Another voice comes from out side. "This way man." He runs out. You breath, that was close. You stay in your corner looking at the road. Not daring to move. You stay till the morning. When down the road you see the police. More than you wold think. They run out towards the barn. Then you see the two men from the night before run out. They are caught by the police. You then get out of your spot and talk to them.

9: There is an old car, with the key still in it. You jump in and turn it on. The engine works. You drive off as fast as possible. You go on home not stoping till you get there.

10: You go into the garage and hid. The footsteps pass by. There is a car in front of you. Its old and rusted. You open the door and lock it. There is no key. You crawl under the seat and hide. You here the footsteps again. This time the go into the garage. Someone grabs on the door but it does not open. You wait. You here the footsteps leave again. You stay till morning waiting for someone to come.

Resurch

Hey Brayden, I'm going to tell you about my resurch project. I'm resurching about the american indians. Spacificly the Indian removal act and how that took away the rites of many amrerican indians. I really wanted to learn more about american indians and this seemed like the perfict way to do it. I've learned that the indian removal act was passed in 1830 by Presedent Andrew Jackson. He made the indians go by by with it and kicked them off of there land. One of the most famous events was the trail of tears. This is when thousands of Charokee indians were fourced to walk thousands of miles. Many died and thus it became known as the trail of tears.

Formal

Hello and good morning to all of you. I am Meredyth Yorek. I know that in 1830 a law was passed known as the Indian Removal act, under Andrew Jackson. This act allowd him to fourcfally remove indians off of there land, and gaing more territory for american settlers. Many Indians lost there land and rites when this was passed, resulting in many homless people. There way of life was ruened. Because of the americans craving for more land, the rites of american indians were inflicted and they lost everything. One of the most famous cases was the Trail Of Tears. About 2000 Charokee indians were removed from there land, and were fourced to walk thousands of miles in extreem conditions. Many died and many more were wounded. Thus it became known as the trail of tears.

Younger me letter

Der Meredyth,

Hey Meredyth I know this may sound wearied but this letter is from your older self. Ya I'm writing this letter to you from the future. Don't freak out and don't worry this isn't a prank, so just keep reading. The future is awesome, I mean its incredible however while things can be incredible they are bad at the same time. Its just how the world woks. Hers a couple things I want you to know first. I am working in the movie industry as both a director and animator. I've got my own movie business and its doing amazing. Of corse I started As a an animator for dream works and moved up, but I finally reached my dream after a lot of hard work. Thats lesson #1 don't give up on your dreams. There will be obstacles and people who say that you cant do it, but that should and will make you work harder and prove to them that you can. Keep writing and drawing and doing your passion. #2 You cant be good at everything, so excel and do the best in what you are good at. #3 keep on loving and playing, and showing people the music you love. The world is going to be ruined with electronic music and people typing on a computer. Remember the classics, rock and things people actually had to use talent and learn how to play instruments. Don't let good music die out. #4 when you want something done you got to do it your self. Work hard because others wont do it for you. And last but not least be yourself and don't be afraid to do it. The worlds needs every type of person, and it needs your genius. Well I hope these tips will help.

-Sincerely,
Your older me

Resurch

2. Research, research, research.  Explain your topic, why should we care about it, and what specifically is on your research to-do list this week?

My topic for the National History day thing is the Indian Removal Act, and the rites taken away from the american indians during it.  I believe that this is something that people should care about, because American indian culture is dying and is dead in some placeless today. Because of this act American Indians, who had the right to there land were forced off by americans because they were greedy and wanted more of it. The americans did not hold up there promises and responsibilities that they were suppose to do to the indians. This act resulted in many indians deaths. There home land was taken by force and they were moved to reservations witch in turn killed many of them an there culture. There there rights were taken away, there freedom, and there culture.  This week i want to finish redoing my bibliography and do some more notes.
